Established in June of 2000, Geo Solutions Ltd. is a United States based consulting firm specializing in shallow subsurface geophysical surveys for environmental, mining and construction activities.  Our clients include engineering, environmental, geologic, government, and private entities. Geo Solutions’ also provides capabilities in geology and the non-destructive evaluation of concrete structures. Geo Solutions provides innovative solutions to everyday problems by first developing an appropriate technical approach, formalizing a cost effective scope of work, and finally by completing the scope of work with a talented geophysical team and state-of-the-art equipment. We have a proven record for providing quality results on a timely basis. Since the establishment of Geo Solutions in June of 2000, we have completed hundreds of successful geophysical surveys at sites throughout North America and Europe. We take pride in our ability to establish and maintain excellent working relationships with our clients that lack geophysical capabilities but value the input that non-invasive geophysical investigations add to their projects.

Personnel

Based on the needs of the client, Geo Solutions offers a talented group of field and office personnel to complete each project. Our senior geophysicist is Ron Crowson. He has more than 45 years of experience working as a geologist and geophysicist for the mining, engineering, and environmental industries.  He was formerly an exploration geologist with IMC Global, a Chief Geologist with IMC Coal, a Mine Planning Geologist with Texasgulf (now PCS Phosphate), a Chief Geologist for Agrico Mining, a Project Director with the Corps of Engineers, a Division manager with Geophex, Ltd., Manager of the O’Brien & Gere Engineer’s Raleigh, NC office, and finally, the founder of Geo Solutions Ltd. Mr. John DeLoatch, also a geologist and geophysicist, has more than 10 years of experience working with mining, transportation and environmental firms.  He was formerly the environmental manager for a municipality in eastern North Carolina, engineering geologist for the NCDOT, mine geologist for Iluka Resources, and most recently President of Geo Solutions Ltd.  Mr. DeLoatch and Mr. Crowson share the responsible for management and technical performance of all of the firm’s projects.  Geo Solutions maintains excellent working relationships with other partnering geophysical firms that routinely share talented personnel and equipment as the rigors of the job demand.
